William Wilson founded Silver Cross in 1877 shortly after he created the very first baby pram for his own children. From there, he opened a workshop on Silver Cross St in Leeds and the business continued to grow, supplying the first baby carriage to George VI for the then Princess Elizabeth.
Whilst managing to preserve its firm identity as a family business, Silver Cross has become a global brand at the forefront of pram design and manufacturing, adapting as it does to modern standards and pioneering new technologies. Silver Cross is passionate about giving the ‘best start in life’ and has proudly provided over 10 million new parents worldwide with reliable, high quality pushchairs since 1877.
Take a look at the current range of Silver Cross pushchairs, strollers and buggies, from the lightweight and stylish Silver Cross Linear Freeway Pushchair to the new Zest Vogue buggy.
